About AAK

Our Story

We do more than drive from A to B

AAK Charters is the transport division of AAK Nature Watch, a renowned birdwatching and eco-tourism operator with international recognition. We launched AAK Charters to make local and remote travel more accessible — especially for nature lovers, tour groups, and visitors looking for something off the beaten track.

With bases in Malanda and Irvinebank, our team knows this region inside and out. We’ve built strong relationships with local communities, schools, tourism providers and environmental groups. Our vehicles are built for FNQ conditions, and our drivers are not just skilled behind the wheel — they’re experienced guides and storytellers too.
